Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a Welsh-medium Primary School in Ceredigion to recruit a dedicated Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant who can support pupils’ learning and development. You will deliver lessons in Welsh and engage learners with enthusiasm.

The role covers day-to-day supply, longer placements or permanent opportunities, with a supportive onboarding process and access to CPD through the My-Progression channel.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Welsh (spoken and written) to deliver lessons through the medium of Welsh.
• Experience in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of Curriculum for Wales.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible, enthusiastic and adaptable across primary year groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Welsh-medium lessons and support pupil development.
• Assist pupils with learning activities and maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Work across different primary year groups as needed.
