TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant for a Welsh-medium primary school in the Llanfyllin / Llansantffraid area. Immediate start, long-term placement across Foundation Phase and KS2, supporting the class teacher with daily activities and small-group support.

The role requires fluent Welsh, experience in primary settings, and familiarity with the Curriculum for Wales. We offer a supportive onboarding process and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Are you a fluent Welsh speaker with a passion for supporting children's learning and development? Do you have experience working with children across the Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 / KS2? Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant who can create a positive and engaging learning environment?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Welsh-medium primary school in the Llanfyllin / Llansantffraid area, who are looking to appoint a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant. The school provides a Welsh-speaking learning environment, supporting pupils in developing their confidence, communication skills and academic abilities through the medium of Welsh.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, starting immediately. The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will be working across the Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 / KS2, supporting the class teacher with daily activities, delivering engaging learning opportunities and providing additional support to pupils both individually and in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Fluent Welsh language skills, both spoken and written
• Experience supporting children within a primary school setting
• Knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales and experience working across Foundation Phase and KS2
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
