Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a Welsh-speaking 1-1 Teaching Assistant for a Welsh-medium primary school in Llanymynech. This part-time role supports pupils from Foundation Phase through KS2 with personalised 1-1 learning in a Welsh-speaking classroom.

You will work closely with teachers to provide targeted support, manage behaviour, and help learners engage with the Welsh curriculum. Immediate start available; pay is £85.50 per day, and employment is offered on a part-time basis.

Qualifications

• The ability to communicate confidently and fluently in Welsh.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable.
• Experience supporting children within a primary school setting.
• Experience providing 1-1 support to pupils with varying learning abilities.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-1 learning support to pupils across Foundation Phase to KS2.
• Assist with classroom activities and help pupils engage with the Welsh-medium curriculum.
• Support a Welsh-speaking learner in a Welsh-medium setting.

Do you have experience working with primary school pupils from Foundation Phase through to Key Stage 2 / KS2?

Are you a patient, enthusiastic and adaptable individual who can provide effective 1-1 support in the classroom?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a couple of Welsh-speaking Primary School based in Llanymynech & surrounding areas, who are looking to appoint a Welsh Speaking 1-1 Assistant. These schools provides a Welsh-medium learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and academic abilities.

TeacherActive is looking to take on a dedicated Welsh Speaking 1-1 Assistant on a part-time basis, with an immediate start available. The successful Welsh Speaking 1-1 Assistant will support pupils across Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2 / KS2, providing individual learning support, assisting with classroom activities and helping pupils engage with the Welsh-medium curriculum.

The successful Welsh Speaking 1-1 Assistant will have:

• The ability to communicate confidently and fluently in Welsh
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
• Experience supporting children within a primary school setting
• Experience providing 1-1 support to pupils with varying learning abilities
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting children's development
