Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to join a partner school in Newcastle Emlyn. This role is term-time only with weekly pay via PAYE and requires adaptability to support pupils with varying learning needs. A Level 2/3 TA qualification and DBS checks are desirable.

Successful candidates will work across different classroom environments, building strong relationships with pupils and staff. A caring, proactive attitude is essential for helping pupil development and confidence.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• Previous experience working with children or young people.
• Experience supporting pupils with ALN is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
