Job summary

TeacherActive are recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in a wonderful partner school in Newcastle Emlyn. This role is term-time only with competitive weekly pay via PAYE, and offers flexible work to suit your schedule.

DBS checks and a supportive consultant team are provided to help you succeed. Ideal candidates will have Level 2/3 TA qualifications, experience with children or ALN, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• Previous experience working with children or young people.
• Experience supporting pupils with ALN is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of learning needs in classroom environments.
• Be adaptable, reliable and confident working in various classroom settings.
• Assist in Welsh-medium education and daily classroom activities.
