Job summary

TeacherActive Limited in Carmarthen is seeking Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants to support pupils in schools across Carmarthen. You can choose long-term placements or flexible day-to-day supply, giving you control over your schedule.

The role involves assisting with lessons, providing 1:1 or small group support, and helping create a positive, inclusive learning environment. Weekly PAYE, CPD access, and a Refer a Friend scheme are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience working with children
• Experience can be voluntary, school-based, or from transferable roles (youth work, care, coaching, etc.)
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development

Responsibilities
