Job summary

Academics is recruiting Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants to support Welsh-medium primary schools in Pontypridd and the wider Rhondda Cynon Taf area. The role offers flexible day-to-day and ad-hoc opportunities, letting you choose when and where you work.

Ideal candidates are fluent Welsh speakers with experience working with children; prior TA or classroom experience is desirable. DBS check (or willingness to obtain one), EWC registration, and right to work in the UK are required.

The Role:

• Opportunities to work across Pontypridd and surrounding areas of Rhondda Cynon Taf

We are looking for:

• Fluent Welsh speakers
• Previous experience working with children
• Previous Teaching Assistant or classroom experience is highly desirable
• A genuine interest in supporting children and their learning
• Flexibility and reliability

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Registration with the EWC
• Right to work in the UK
