Aspire People is recruiting a Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools across Cardiff. This role focuses on delivering pre-set work, maintaining student focus and fostering a positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong Welsh language skills, experience with young people, and reliable, adaptable work habits. EWC registration or willingness to obtain, along with an enhanced DBS, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Welsh-speaking candidates preferred and essential for the role.
• Experience with young people or within an education setting is required.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are important.
• Good communication and organisational abilities are necessary for multi-site support.

Responsibilities

• Cover lessons across secondary schools.
• Deliver pre-set work and keep students on task.
• Support a positive and productive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently.
• Assist students with their learning where appropriate.
• Work across different subjects as required.
• Liaise with teaching staff regarding lesson plans and progress.
