Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a fluent Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisor for an immediate start at a Welsh-medium secondary school in Caerphilly. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-set Welsh work and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will be reliable with secondary pupils, have strong classroom management, and be willing to register with the Education Workforce Council. Competitive daily pay (£120–£140) and flexible supply opportunities are on offer with consultant

Qualifications

• Fluent Welsh speaker (spoken and written).
• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils (essential).
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willingness to register.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during teacher absence.
• Deliver pre-planned work confidently through the Welsh language.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure a safe, calm, and productive learning environment.
• Support the school's Welsh-medium ethos.
