Job summary

Aspire People Limited is urgently recruiting a fluent Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisor for an immediate start at a Welsh-medium secondary school in Caerphilly. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-planned Welsh-language work, and help maintain a positive learning environment.

The successful candidate will have experience with secondary pupils, strong classroom and behaviour management skills, and be willing to register with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).

Qualifications

• Fluent Welsh speaker (spoken and written).
• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils (essential).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willingness to register.
• Reliable, adaptable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during teacher absence.
• Deliver pre-planned work confidently through the Welsh language.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure a safe, calm, and productive learning environment.
• Support the school's Welsh-medium ethos.
