Job summary

TeacherActive in Cardiff is seeking a Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant to work in welcoming primary schools on a temporary basis. You will support pupils with their learning through Welsh language communication and help create a positive classroom environment.

The role requires Welsh language proficiency, a relevant TA qualification or classroom experience, and flexibility to fit around school schedules.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or relevant classroom experience.
• Welsh as a first or second language with the ability to confidently communicate through the medium of Welsh.
• Experience supporting children within a UK primary school.
• Positive and proactive approach to supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility and reliability.
