Job summary

The Labour Party in the Welsh National Office at Cardiff is seeking a Welsh Communications Officer to develop and implement a proactive regional media strategy and to manage the day-to-day presentation of Labour Government policies in regional media.

The post requires knowledge of regional media, experience in strategy development, ability to build relationships with local outlets and to lead or coordinate volunteers.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of regional media and issues affecting the region.
• Experience of developing and implementing a media strategy.
• Ability to build relations with regional and local media.
• Ability to lead or co-ordinate a team of volunteers.
