Job summary

Jobs in Fitness is launching a premium movement and recovery destination in Billericay. The General Manager will drive commercial performance, memberships, and an elevated member experience, building a high-performing team and local partnerships.

The role requires entrepreneurial leadership to grow the space, with responsibility for P&L, events and community engagement. A strong track record in sales, partnerships and operational excellence is essential.

Qualifications

Experience as GM/club/studio in premium fitness or hospitality.
Proven ability to own budgets, revenue targets and KPIs.
Track record in driving sales, lead generation and retention.
Experience building local partnerships and community initiatives.
Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the site's P&L and drive revenue growth.
Develop and execute the site's commercial strategy across memberships and services.
Forecast, budget and control costs with strong resource planning.
Lead membership sales, onboarding and retention strategies.
Create a hospitality-first culture and exceptional member journeys.
Recruit, train and lead a high-performing team.
Oversee launch planning, partnerships and local marketing activities.
