Coleg Sir Gar in Wales is seeking a Wellbeing Mentor to provide targeted mentoring support to leaners at risk of NEET. The role focuses on removing barriers to learning and improving learner outcomes, working within Learner Experience and Curriculum teams.

The college wishes to appoint a Wellbeing Mentor to provide support primarily targeted at learners and potential learners who are most at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training). The work of the Wellbeing Mentor will enable young people to better overcome barriers to learning and to achieve successful learner outcomes.
The work of the Wellbeing Mentor will complement the wider support network of the Learner Experience Directorate within the College and activities within Curriculum Areas. The work will require a high level of cooperation with other staff across the College.
As a member of the Wellbeing Team the Wellbeing Mentor, will be expected undertake the following duties to achieve the following outcomes:
