Job summary

Blackpool and The Fylde College is recruiting a Wellbeing Mentor to join the Student, Support & Wellbeing Team. The role provides targeted support to students and apprentices with mental health or wellbeing concerns, including triage of referrals and short-term and crisis interventions.

The post is permanent, full-time (37 hours per week), with a salary in the £31,334 - £33,229 scale and a part-year option. The college offers a comprehensive benefits package and generous annual leave.

The Role

B&FC are recruiting for a Wellbeing Mentor to join our Student, Support & Wellbeing Team To provide targeted support to all students and apprentices where a Mental Health or wellbeing concern has been identified, ensuring that they receive the correct level of support at the earliest opportunity. This will involve the triage of a digitised referral system, signposting to both internal and external sources of support, providing both short term and crisis support interventions whilst managing a small caseload using an Early Help approach.
