Job summary

Champneys, the UK’s original health spa brand, seeks a Restaurant Manager to lead day-to-day restaurant and bar/café operations with warmth and precision. You’ll drive outstanding service, financial performance and guest experience while developing your team and collaborating with senior leaders and chefs to uphold premium brand standards.

You will be on the floor, guiding service, managing staff, and ensuring the highest levels of hospitality across all brand experiences, including wellbeing,

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a restaurant or food & beverage operation.
• Confident, visible leader who enjoys being on the floor with the team.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and costs.
• Passion for service excellence and guest experience.
• Excellent communication and people-management skills.
• Calm, organised and solutions-focused under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant operation and set service standards.
• Motivate, develop and manage the team on the floor.
• Ensure every service runs smoothly, professionally and on brand.
• Build positive relationships with guests and resolve feedback confidently.
• Oversee rotas, staffing levels and payroll spend within budget.
• Manage stock, suppliers and equipment to agreed standards.
• Drive strong financial performance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety and policies.
• Act as Duty Manager on a rota basis and support wider resort operations.
• Collaborate with Chefs, Front of House and senior leaders.
