Champneys, a prestigious wellness brand in the United Kingdom, is seeking a dedicated Kitchen professional to support the Head Chef in running the kitchen and delivering exceptional dining experiences for guests. The role emphasizes high standards, healthy eating philosophy, and team leadership.

You will assist in menu development, staff recruitment and training, and ensure compliance with cleanliness and legislative standards while managing costs and food quality across all Champneys outlets.

Responsabilités

• Assist Head Chef in managing and running the kitchen to keep the team motivated and ensure high standards.
• Support with menu development, considering Champneys' healthy eating cuisine.
• Assist Head Chef in recruiting, training and performance of kitchen staff.
• Manage and run the Kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, supervising staff.
• Update People System with daily hours and complete rotas in absence of the Head Chef.
• Prepare and present buffets and menu dishes.
• Maintain service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure staff are trained in Champneys' healthy eating philosophy and compliance.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and legislative compliance.
• Order food items from approved suppliers and monitor prices/quality.
• Control departmental food costs and minimize waste.
