Job summary

Eastern Multi-academy Trust (EMAT) is seeking a compassionate, proactive pastoral supporter for Upwell Academy. You will work with children, families, academy staff and external agencies to remove barriers to education, promote positive attendance and wellbeing, and strengthen home–school partnerships.

You will support vulnerable pupils, contribute to safeguarding, and help create an inclusive, supportive environment where every child can thrive and feel valued.

Qualifications

• Level 2 English & Maths required.
• Level 3 Education qualification or equivalent required.
• Committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support attendance and engagement by building relationships with families.
• Collaborate with children, families and external agencies to remove barriers to education.
• Promote wellbeing, inclusion and positive pupil outcomes.
• Work with Upwell Academy staff to monitor pupil progress and safeguarding.
