Job summary

Hamberley Care Homes is seeking an Activities Assistant (Wellbeing Assistant) at Brookwater House in Enfield, N13. You will support residents with enrichment and wellbeing activities, helping them enjoy daily life and social engagement, alongside a team dedicated to quality care.

Brookwater House provides residential, dementia, and nursing care in a luxurious setting; you will contribute to a positive, caring culture with dedicated wellbeing coaches and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, empathy and a passion for making lives more enjoyable.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to motivate yourself.
• Good knowledge of local community groups and activities.
• Experience in residential care or similar transferable skills.
• Good verbal and written communication for care planning and activity records.

Responsibilities

• Support residents, families and colleagues as the wellbeing assistant to make things happen.
• Lead enrichment and wellbeing activities weekly and monthly, getting to know residents personally.
• Learn about hobbies and interests to help residents keep doing what they love.
• Support daily activities and run events/activities in the home.
• Inspire the home to foster a positive and creative living environment.
