Hamberley Care Homes at Caddington Grove in Dunstable is seeking a Wellbeing Assistant to support residents with enrichment and daily activities, building meaningful connections with individuals and families.

You’ll lead weekly and monthly wellbeing activities, learn residents’ hobbies, work with colleagues to plan events, and help create a positive, creative living environment. Competitive salary and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, with empathy and a genuine desire to make residents’ lives more enjoyable.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to motivate yourself and others.
• Keen knowledge of local community groups and activities to enrich residents’ days.
• Experience in a residential care setting or transferable skills from related roles.
• Good verbal and written communication for care planning and activity documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support residents, families and colleagues to ensure activities run smoothly.
• Coordinate enrichment and wellbeing activities on a weekly and monthly schedule.
• Get to know residents’ interests and arrange suitable activities and events.
• Lead and inspire the home to foster a positive, creative living environment.
• Contribute to daily activities and events that enhance residents’ quality of life.
