Job summary

Prime Life is seeking an Activities Coordinator to join our caring team at Westerlands Care Village, Brough. The role focuses on planning daily activities, arranging trips, and providing companionship to residents across a range of needs, including age-related conditions and dementia.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Prior experience organising activities in a similar environment is advantageous.
• Good time keeping skills and ability to prioritise tasks are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily activities that support residents' social, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
• Schedule trips and excursions aligned with residents' interests and hobbies.
• Provide friendship and companionship and accompany residents to social outings or appointments.
• Organise and participate in fundraising activities.
• Research and arrange in-home entertainment (musicians, artists).
• Maintain accurate records and complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Welcome family members and encourage participation in daily activities.
