Job summary

Prime Life is seeking an Activities Coordinator to join our friendly team at Westerlands Care Village, Brough. The role focuses on planning daily activities, arranging trips, and providing companionship to residents with age-related conditions, disabilities, and dementia.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Good time keeping skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Experience organising activities in a similar environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily activities to support residents' social, emotional, physical and spiritual well‑being.
• Schedule trips and excursions aligned with residents' interests and hobbies.
• Provide friendship and companionship and accompany residents on outings or appointments.
• Organise and participate in fundraising activities within the home.
• Research and arrange in‑home entertainment such as musicians or artists.
• Maintain accurate written records and complete documentation promptly.
• Welcome family members and encourage participation in daily activities with loved ones.
