Job summary

Glenholme Healthcare Ltd in March, Cambridgeshire, seeks a Well-being and Activities Coordinator to plan, coordinate and deliver a comprehensive programme at Wendreth Court Care Home. You will ensure residents have access to meaningful, person-centred activities that promote social engagement and wellbeing.

The role reports to the Home Manager and requires a full UK driving license and being 25 or older for insurance.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Creative, energetic, and person-centred approach to planning activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of a varied programme of activities and wellbeing initiatives tailored to residents.
• Coordinate and deliver group and one-to-one sessions, including arts, reminiscence, music, games and gentle exercise.
• Encourage engagement and promote independence, dignity and choice in wellbeing.
• Work with residents, families and care staff to develop personalised activity plans.
• Organise events and celebrate occasions within the home.
• Build relationships with external organisations to enhance the activities programme.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and maintain documentation.
• Promote health and wellbeing through movement and exercise sessions where qualified.
