Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Wellbeing and Activities Assistant to join Lavender Lodge Care Home in Farnborough on a bank basis. You will help deliver a broad programme of activities to support residents' physical, cognitive, and social well‑being, under the guidance of the Wellbeing Coordinator.

As part of the role, you will help maintain a safe environment, assist with supplies, and establish links with the local community to promote engagement.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage and stimulate residents with activities.
• Experience with older adults in a dementia care setting.

Responsibilities

• Support Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering activities.
• Maintain a safe living environment and support the home's image.
• Order and prepare supplies for upcoming activities.
• Build links with local community for intergenerational activity.
