Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Wellbeing and Activities Assistant on a bank (flexible) basis at Greensand House Care Home in Redhill. You’ll support residents with a range of activities to promote wellbeing and social engagement.

The role requires compassionate communication, experience with older people in care settings, and a commitment to creating meaningful daily experiences. DBS check and UK work eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities coordination or wellbeing support is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Empathy and commitment to high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Support Wellbeing Coordinator with planning and delivering activities to engage residents.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment and assist with arranging supplies.
• Build links with local community groups to enhance activity opportunities.
• Monitor residents’ participation and report changes to the team.
