Mind in Salford is seeking a Welfare Rights Advisor to support people in Salford facing financial hardship and mental health challenges. You will deliver welfare rights advice, debt guidance, budgeting support, help with grant applications and build financial capability to improve clients' financial wellbeing alongside their mental health.

You will manage a caseload on a one-to-one basis, ensure accurate records, and work with partners to develop services.

Formación

• At least one year's experience delivering welfare rights advice.
• At least one year's experience delivering debt advice.
• Ability to understand the wishes and needs of people using mental health services and advocate appropriately.
• Ability to manage a caseload while meeting case-working standards.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver welfare rights advice, debt advice, budgeting support, grant applications and financial capability support to people experiencing mental health difficulties.
• Manage a caseload of clients on a one-to-one basis with accurate, holistic, person-centered advice.
• Contribute to service development and partnership working based on client needs.
