Summary The governors of Withnell Fold Primary School wish to appoint a welfare assistant to join our mid-day supervision team.

We are looking for candidates who will:

  • Develop positive relationships with both children and adults
  • Help children organise playground games
  • Be kind and caring and manage behaviour in accordance with the school behaviour policy
  • Help make lunch times a happy and safe place for our children
  • Help supervise the children in the dining room

Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.
