Job summary

Salesbury Church Of England Primary School in Blackburn is seeking a Teaching Assistant 2A to join our team for three fixed days: Monday, Thursday and Friday. The role is part time and term time only; your salary will be pro-rata based on the full-time equivalent.

You will support our pupils across the school with enthusiasm and reliability, contributing to an engaging, inclusive learning environment. Essential qualifications include GCSE English and Maths, with experience of working with

Summary TEACHING ASSISTANT 2A (3 DAYS)

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our team andsupport our children across the school. We would like the successful candidate to work each Monday, Thursday and Friday bringing enthusiasm, commitment and the desire to have a realimpact onour children. We know that a positive, engaging adult, who can be relied on, can make such a difference!

Our school is in a lovely, rural location that is in the Ribble Valley and close to Blackburn. The schoolprovides many opportunities for exciting outdoor learning with purposeful classrooms and an engaging curriculum to support our learners. There will be opportunities for professional development too!

Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2026, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.
