Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with welding processes, ideally MIG welding.
• Understanding of metal joining and weld quality.
• Experience inspecting welded components.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Engineering and Quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cross-sectional analysis of welded and brazed joints.
• Prepare samples using cutting and grinding equipment.
• Inspect welds and components using microscopes and test equipment.
• Produce analysis reports and document findings.
• Audit incoming materials and supplier certification.
• Support quality investigations and process improvement activities.
