Job summary

The role requires current NDT Level 2 certification, strong interpretation of drawings, and a proven track record in welding inspection within engineering or fabrication

Qualifications

• Welding inspection and NDT experience essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and quality documentation.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.
• Experience inspecting welded fabrications in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality inspections of welded fabrications and manufactured components.
• Perform visual weld inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
• Inspect weld preparation, fit-up and completed welds.
• Review engineering drawings, welding documentation and inspection records.
• Coordinate NDT activities and review inspection reports.
• Identify defects and support corrective actions.
• Maintain quality records and documentation.
• Collaborate with fabrication teams and engineers.
