Job summary

HMH is seeking a focused NDT/Quality Control Inspector in Aberdeen to perform non-destructive testing on welds, structures and materials, interpret results and prepare inspection reports. The role supports the QC department with NCRs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Applicants should hold NDE Level II with MPI/LPI/UT experience; CSWIP would be advantageous. A forklift certificate (B1) is beneficial for site operations and safe handling within workshops.

Qualifications

• NDE Level II certification with MPI/LPI/UT experience preferred.
• CSWIP certification advantageous or ability to achieve.
• Forklift certification (B1) desired for site operations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Non-Destructive Tests on Welds, Structures and Materials (MPI, LPI, DPT, UT).
• Interpret and evaluate test results to applicable codes and customer specs.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain documentation.
• Maintain NDE equipment and calibration records.
• Support quality management and NCR processes to drive improvements.
• Assist in on-site welding-related QC activities as needed.
