Job summary

Millenium Site Services is seeking a Responsible Welding Coordinator to oversee welding quality and compliance across our operations. You will ensure all welding activity meets required standards, working closely with production, quality, and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities include developing welding procedures, maintaining welder qualifications, overseeing inspections, and guiding audits. The role requires strong knowledge of EN 15085 and ISO 3834 and experience with WPS/WPQR management.

Qualifications

• RWC qualification (EN … / ISO 14731) or equivalent such as IWE/IWT/IWS.
• Experience in welding coordination or quality, preferably rail or heavy engineering.
• Strong knowledge of EN 15085 and ISO 3834.
• Experience managing WPS/WPQR and welder qualification records.
• Ability to engage with auditors, clients and certification bodies.
• Attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as Responsible Welding Coordinator under EN and ISO 3834.
• Develop and maintain welding procedures (WPS/WPQR).
• Keep welder qualifications and certifications up to date.
• Oversee welding inspection, NDT liaison, and non-conformance management.
• Support internal, client, and certification body audits.
• Provide technical guidance and training to welding staff.
• Investigate welding defects and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records for traceability and certification.
