Job summary

Design for Manufacture Resourcing (DFM-R) Limited is seeking a Welding Engineer to join our Wolverhampton/Dudley area team. The role focuses on welding engineering, automated welding systems and robotic programming to support technically challenging projects.

You will develop MIG and TIG welding processes, program and optimise robotic welding systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing technical support to manufacturing and engineering teams within a nuclear/automation/engineering

Qualifications

• Experience in welding engineering with MIG/TIG welding.
• Knowledge of automated/robotic welding.
• Background in automotive, automation or nuclear engineering.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welding Engineer to join an established engineering business based in Wolverhampton.

The role will focus on welding engineering, automated welding systems and robotic programming, supporting technically complex engineering and manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and develop MIG and TIG welding processes
• Programming and optimisation of automated/robotic welding systems
• Robot programming, setup and troubleshooting

Experience Required

• Strong background in Welding Engineering
• MIG and TIG welding knowledge

• Background within Automotive, Automation, Nuclear, Manufacturing or a similar engineering environment
