Job summary

Design for Manufacture Resourcing (DFM-R) Limited is seeking a Welding Engineer to join our Wolverhampton/Dudley-based team. The role focuses on welding engineering, automated welding systems and robotic programming to support technically complex projects.

You will develop MIG and TIG welding processes, program and optimise robotic weld cells, troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and engineering functions.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Welding Engineering or related field.
• MIG and TIG welding knowledge required.
• Experience with automated/robotic welding systems.
• Robot programming experience beneficial.
• Understanding of welding processes, parameters and quality.
• Background in automotive, automation, nuclear, manufacturing or similar engineering environment.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welding Engineer to join an established engineering business based in Wolverhampton.

The role will focus on welding engineering, automated welding systems and robotic programming, supporting technically complex engineering and manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and develop MIG and TIG welding processes
