This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business at the forefront of the renewable energy sector, working on major offshore wind projects and contributing to the UK's clean energy future.

The role will initially be working a day shift at £22.17 per hour plus a 12.5% commissioning allowance. Shift patterns are expected to be introduced within the next 4-6 weeks, moving to a rotating pattern of days and nights with enhanced earnings of £22.17 per hour plus 30% shift allowance.

As a Welder, you'll use a variety of welding processes including FCAW, MCAW and SAW to perform skilled welding activities on large steel components used in monopile construction. You'll be responsible for inspecting, preparing and welding materials to specification, ensuring all work meets strict quality, safety and production requirements.

You'll work from engineering drawings and welding procedures to deliver high-quality welds, conduct quality checks and support the efficient production of components. You'll also be expected to identify and report any quality, safety or production issues and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Ability to use measuring equipment and conduct quality checks.
  • Strong understanding of welding safety practices and quality standards.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to production targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
