Job summary

Permanent Futures Limited is seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing team in Bradford. You will produce high-quality welded components to specification while meeting production targets in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, setting up welding equipment, and inspecting welds to ensure standards are met. You will work both independently and with colleagues to maintain productivity and quality.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a MIG Welder in a manufacturing/production setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Able to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of welding processes, materials, and fabrication techniques.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or shifts when required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on mild steel components to engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forklift or overhead crane experience (advantageous but not essential).
