Job description

Pre-employment Qualifications and Special Considerations

1. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
2. Live within driving distance of our headquarters in Fleetwood, PA
3. Willingness to travel (possibly extended periods)
4. We are a drug-free workplace. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test.
5. 3+ years experience as a welder (TIG welding) and pipefitter in an industrial setting

Key Responsibilities and Duties

1. Plan layout, install, maintain and repair all types of pipe fittings and fixtures according to blueprints
2. Select pipe sizes, types, or related materials, such as supports, hangers or hydraulic cylinders
3. Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings or related equipment by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering or threading joints
4. Inspect, examine, or test installed system or pipelines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing or other methods as required
5. Proficient in using various measuring tools to establish position or configuration of plans
6. Follow all safety guidelines set by OSHA, Axcess Industries, and the client
7. Work as part of a team under the direction of the Field Foreman to complete various mechanical and welding tasks as necessary for the overall successful completion of the job

Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Compensation: $30- $45 Hour + overtime. We provide hotel and per diem for out-of-area work.
