Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a Welder Fabricator for a PM shift in Woking. You will weld and fabricate from design drawings, using MIG or TIG welding for aluminium and steel, and operate grinders, punch, and plasma cutter. This role requires attention to quality for a world leading company.

The PM shift runs 2:30pm–10:30pm Monday to Thursday and 1:00pm–8:00pm Fridays, with lots of hours on offer. Proactive Global is committed to equality in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Extensive background in Mig or Tig Welding.
• Experience reading and fabricating from design drawings.
• Ability to fabricate using all tools including grinders, punch and plasma cutter.

Responsibilities

• Welds and fabricates components from engineering drawings.
• Works with MIG/TIG welding on aluminium and steel as required.
• Uses grinders, punch and plasma cutter to finish parts to spec.

Welder Fabricator required to work on a PM shift for a leading organisation based near Woking. You will be an experienced welder, fabricator that can work with specialist products for a world leading company, so quality is essential!

Due to an ever growing order book and increased investment we are implementing a new PM shift comprising of 2:30pm- 10:30pm Monday to Thursday and 1:00pm - 8:00pm Fridays.

• You will have an extensive background of Mig or Tig Welding.
• mostly TIG welding to Aluminium and Steele.
• Primarily be welding and fabricating from design drawings
• Suitable candidates must be able to fabricate using all tools, grinders, punch, Plasma cutter.
• Would suit anyone with experience in structural steel as well as possibly a little mechanical experience.
