Job summary

Resource Recruitment is seeking an experienced Welder to join a busy workshop near Wyke Regis, Dorset. The role involves welding and fabricating a range of components from drawings, working with aluminium and mild steel, and meeting project deadlines.

We offer a starting salary with overtime at premium rates, 30 days holiday and a pension, plus ongoing training and development opportunities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in welding capacity.
• High standards of welding/fabrication using aluminium and mild steel.
• Ability to read and work from drawings and follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to work to deadlines and undertake overtime as required.
• Formal welding or fabrication qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
• Flexible to working hours due to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Working from drawings to produce bespoke welded/fabricated components.
• Undertaking repairs and refits as required.
• Working with aluminium and mild steel on various projects.
• Using a range of hand and power tools in a busy workshop environment.
• Collaborating within a team to meet project deadlines.
