Job summary

Resource Recruitment is seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a busy Weymouth workshop. You will work from drawings to produce bespoke components for a variety of projects, welding Ali and Mild Steel and performing repairs as needed.

The role offers 42.5 hours per week with a starting hourly rate of £14.50–£16.40 and overtime at premium rates. Benefits include 30 days holiday, pension, salary reviews and opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience welding diverse materials and fabricating fixable solutions.
• Ability to work from drawings to produce bespoke components.
• Capable of meeting deadlines in a busy workshop environment.
• Experience with Ali and Mild Steel is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work from drawings to make bespoke products for varied projects.
• Undertake repairs of products returned to the workshop.
• Operate on materials including Ali and Mild Steel.
• Undertake refits, modifications and upgrades as required.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with the team in a busy workshop.
