Job summary

Aspirare Recruitment is actively seeking a Welder Fabricator for a temp-to-perm position in the Edinburgh area. You will perform MIG and TIG welding across stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium and carbon steel and read technical drawings to fabricate platforms, handrails, tanks and conveyors in both workshop and site environments.

The role offers CIS pay at £18.50 per hour, with overtime at £23.75 per hour, and holiday entitlement accrued after six months.

Qualifications

• Proven fabrication experience.
• Strong MIG and TIG welding skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Experience with metals including stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium and carbon steel.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Ability to work safely across workshop and site environments.

Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding across stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium and carbon steel.
• Welding stainless steel pipework and 8-inch carbon pipework.
• Fabricating platforms, handrails, tanks, silos, conveyors, nuts and bolts.
• Reading and working accurately from technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday 8:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm, Friday 7:00am-4:30pm
• MIG and TIG welding across stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium and carbon steel.
• Welding stainless steel pipework and 8-inch carbon pipework.
• Fabricating platforms, handrails, tanks, silos, conveyors, nuts and bolts.
• Working on both heavy structural projects and hygienic applications.
• Reading and working accurately from technical drawings.
• Completing fabrication and welding work to a high standard in both workshop and site environments.
