Job summary

Global Recruitment Group in Coatbridge is seeking a skilled Welder to join a busy engineering and fabrication team. You will perform MIG, TIG and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel and aluminium, read technical drawings, and finish components to exact specifications.

This role offers immediate starts, long-term work with plenty of overtime, Monday–Friday shifts, modern facilities, ongoing training, and potential progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder in a fabrication or engineering environment.
• Strong MIG, TIG and Stick welding experience.
• Experience working with steel, stainless steel and/or aluminium.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional approach.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Welder to join a busy engineering and fabrication team in Coatbridge.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG, TIG and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

Pay Rates

Dayshift

• £24.00 per hour for the first 40 hours.
• £32.00 per hour for hours worked over 40.

Nightshift

• £29.50 per hour for the first 40 hours.
• £34.00 per hour for hours worked over 40.

Contract & Payment

• CIS, Umbrella or PAYE options available.
• 13-week probationary period.
• Following successful completion of the 13 weeks, a direct PAYE contract may be offered, subject to performance and company requirements.
• Pay review after 13 weeks.
• Temporary-to-permanent opportunity.
