Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is recruiting a Welder/Fabricator in Sandy, Bedfordshire. Pay £17–£20 per hour with regular overtime, on a full-time, permanent basis. Work from engineering drawings fabricating stainless steel 1–12mm thick, including pipework, with occasional site work and added payments for overtime.

Typical hours are Monday–Thursday 7:30–16:00 and Friday finish at 12:00. The role requires MIG/TIG experience and the ability to meet tight tolerances in a growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• MIG and TIG experience required.
• Stainless steel experience required.
• Able to work to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Work from engineering drawings and interpret tolerances.
• Weld and fabricate stainless steel 1–12mm thick, including pipework.
• Occasional site work with additional payments.
• Maintain quality and safety standards while meeting production targets.

Excellent opportunity for a welder fabricator with MIG and TIG experience to secure a full time, permanent role offering regular overtime.

The company are well established manufacturers of special purpose machinery, and through rapid expansion, and are looking for additional fabricator/welders to join the team.

Within the role you will be expected to work from engineering drawings, understand tolerances and welding and fabricating stainless steel material 1-12mm thick, including pipework.

There is regular overtime Monday to Saturday at x1.5, so this is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role offering long term stability, with fantastic earning potential, in a growing company.

• Coded Welder
