Job summary

Precision People is recruiting a skilled MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator for a permanent role near Melton Mowbray. The role involves producing high-quality fabricated components using MIG and TIG welding, reading detailed drawings, and working to exacting standards.

Immediate interviews and a supportive team environment are on offer with a genuine temp-to-perm route. You will weld mild steel up to 25mm (MIG) and stainless steel (TIG), with experience in structural welding and fabrication, reading

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained or time-served Welder.
• MIG and TIG welding experience on mid- to heavy-gauge mild steel.
• Experience in structural welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.

Pay:up to £18.50 per hour

Location: Melton Mowbray, LE13

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

The Role

As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated components using MIG and TIG welding techniques.

• MIG welding mild steel up to 25mm
• TIG welding stainless steel
• Experience in structural welding and fabrication
• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
• Fabricating components to a high standard
• Reporting to the Fabrication Manager
• Working independently on a variety of jobs and materials when required

What We're Looking For

• Apprentice-trained or time-served Welder Fabricator
• Strong MIG and TIG welding and fabrication experience
• MIG and TIG welding structural steel experience
• At least three years' experience working with mid- to heavy-gauge mild steel
• Confident reading technical and engineering drawings
• Fitting experience would be beneficial, but is not essential
• Able to work on your own initiative and hit the ground running
