Job summary

Optima UK in Leicester (LE2) is seeking an experienced MIG and TIG Welder/Fabricator to join a busy sheet metal fabrication workshop. You will weld, fabricate from drawings, measure and assemble components, and maintain quality across projects.

The role offers an early finish every Friday, a permanent position, and hourly pay of £15.00–£18.00 depending on experience, with long-term opportunities in a growing team.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG and TIG welding on metal components.
• Able to read and work from technical drawings.
• Capable of fabricating from engineering drawings and measuring parts.
• Maintain quality and safety standards in a workshop.
• Reliable with a good attitude to teamwork and production flow.

Pay Rate: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:15pm, Friday: 7:00am - 12:00pm
