Job summary

The Job People Ltd in Swadlincote is seeking a basic MIG Welder or Tack Welder for a production role in a factory environment. Pay ranges from £14.00 to £14.50 per hour with plenty of overtime and weekly pay. Immediate start with a genuine opportunity for permanent employment.

Expect days Monday to Friday with 44 hours per week across 7am to 5pm or 7am to 4pm on Friday; based in Swadlincote and involving manual, physical work with steel bars and re-bar.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG welding and/or Tack welding in a production setting.
• Welding in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Willingness to do overtime and hand-eye coordination for steel bars / rebar.

Responsibilities

• Weld using MIG or Tack welding on steel bars/rebar.
• Build cages and frames in a production setting.
• Work days Mon–Fri, with overtime and physical work.

£14.00 to £14.50 per hour (Your pay rate will increase as your skills / experience improves)

Days Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm Friday - basic hours 44 hours per week
