TXM Recruit are seeking a Welder for a permanent rail project in Milton Keynes. You will perform MIG or TIG welds and work on corrosion removal across fleets of rolling stock.

The role requires welding in flat, vertical, horizontal and overhead positions, plus passing a rail industry medical and drugs & alcohol test and a weld test before start dates. Equal opportunities employer.

Formación

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in welding/fabrication.
• Able to MIG or TIG weld to a strong standard.
• Must pass rail industry medical and drugs & alcohol test.
• Weld test will be required prior to start dates being offered.

TXM Recruit are currently looking to put a team of Welders together on a permanent basis for a rail client in Milton Keynes. The team will be performing corrosion removal on various fleets of rolling stock vehicles; you will need to be able to weld in the following positions.

As a Welder you would be carrying out a variety of welds, including flat, vertical, horizontal and overhead.

The successful candidate must:

• Be able to MIG or TIG weld to a strong standard.
• Be able to pass a rail industry standard medical and drug and alcohol test.
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in welding/fabrication.
• A weld test will be required prior to start dates being offered, as well as pass a rail standard medical and drugs & alcohol.
