• Experience in TIG and MMA welding, capable of welding in the 6G position.
• Proven experience in fabrication from detailed drawings.

Responsibilities

• Weld in the 6G position on a 6” Carbon steel pipe with Inconel 625 internal inlay.
• Adhere to daily quality controls.
• Work overtime as required to meet customer needs.

My client operates within the Oil & Gas industry and is based in the North East (Middlesbrough) area. They have over 35 years of experience in manufacturing critical subsea components and systems.

Recently acquired by a group employing over 300 people, this is an exciting time to join their journey.

Role: Welder

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be time served with an NVQ Level 3 in welding and fabrication, or equivalent.
• Have experience in TIG and MMA welding, capable of welding in the 6G position.
• Have proven experience in fabrication working from detailed drawings.
• Be familiar with materials including Non-Ferrous, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium.
• Demonstrate adherence to daily quality controls.
• Be flexible and willing to work overtime as required to meet customer needs.

After a successful interview, candidates will be required to complete a weld test on a 6” Carbon steel pipe with Inconel 625 internal inlay, using TIG (root) and MMA (fill and cap) in 6G position, which will be subjected to RT and additional inspections.
