This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful security company specializing in Security / Access Control Systems for some of the UK's largest Utility companies. We are looking for an ambitious Fabricator / Welder to help develop the business during an exciting growth phase.

Note: The role may require attending sites across the UK, so a valid and clean driver's license is essential.

• The successful candidate must hold a current CSCS card.
• Have a valid driving license.
• At least 2 years' experience in fabrication, interpreting drawings, and working on bespoke and architectural metalwork.
• Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
• Ability to weld (MIG and MMA for site work).
• Capability to work on bespoke orders from drawing to finished product without supervision.
• Good knowledge of fabrication techniques and welding methods.
• Understanding of subcontracting procedures and practices.
• Adherence to Health & Safety standards.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Fabrication and welding of industrial structures, reading and implementing technical drawings.
• Cutting, bending, welding, finishing, and quality inspection.
• Maintaining workshop health & safety standards.
• Completing Quality Control and Test Inspection documents as per schedule.
• Practicing material sustainability (reuse/recycle) to reduce waste and costs.
• Ensuring installed services and equipment comply with contract documentation.
• Reporting defective materials and substandard workmanship.
• Assessing staffing and resource needs.
• Reporting project scope changes and risks, assisting in contingency planning.
• Following best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Some travel may be required for installation phases.
