Job description

Stafforce is recruiting on a temporary to permanent basis for Welders in the Peterlee area. You will work through Stafforce for 3 months, then transfer onto a permanent full-time contract at the end of that period.

About the role:

1. Using MIG / TIG welding techniques.
2. Working with materials such as mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.

Candidate requirements:

1. Ideally with a sheet metal background, but all experience will be considered.
2. Ability to read drawings and use initiative to fabricate products.
3. Experience operating power tools and workshop machinery.

Hours of work:

07:45 to 16:45, Monday to Friday.

Pay rate:

Up to £15 per hour, Monday to Friday, depending on experience.
